Tough Week For Biden But Priorities Proceed in Congress

Clearly it was a tough week for President Biden as 13 American troops died in a suicide bombing attack in Afghanistan, but the military has been able to evacuate over 100,000, mainly Afghans who helped the US during the 20 years of warfare. As of today it is not clear how many Americans remain in Afghanistan and want to leave. It appears more certain by the hour that the American involvement in Afghanistan will come to an end on August 31.
