FSI is a market-leading independent research firm that, through the Website, offers individual investors the opportunity to subscribe to weekly newsletters and research packages which provide data and information to help investors understand and formulate investment strategies (“Subscription Packages”). The Website also offers members general information about markets, investments and related financial news *(collectively, with Subscription Packages, “Services”).

FSI respects privacy rights, and is committed to safeguarding the Personal Information entrusted to us by our clients and visitors to our Site. FSI has implemented this Privacy Policy to govern the use of Personal Information that we collect through the Website, including Personal Information you send to us. This Privacy Policy does not govern Personal Information collected from any other source or in any other manner. This Privacy Policy is intended to provide you with information as to: (i) the type of information that is collected, (ii) how the collected information is used and with whom it is shared; (iii) how we intend to protect the information; and (iv) how you can access such information and have it modified and/or removed.

This Privacy Policy may be changed from time to time, and we reserve the right to make changes without prior individual notice. California Privacy Rights

Collection and Use of Information

Personal Information

Personal Information is information that uniquely identifies you, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number. When you register with FSI and subscribe to one of our services, FSI will collect your Personal Information. For example, we collect your Personal Information if you subscribe to one of our investment packages or contact us with inquiries. When you subscribe to one or more of our services, your subscription and account information is password-protected. Only you have access to password-protected areas of the Website. Do not share your password with anyone Additionally, when you enter any password-protected area of the Site, then the Site will recognize who you are and will collect information that you submit. Any information collected about you from that Site may be associated with other information that FSI has collected about you. We may ask for additional information subject to laws and regulations governing the financial industry, which may require additional information for Know-Your-Customer and Anti-Money Laundering Purposes.

IP Address

An IP (Internet Protocol) address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your internet service provider when you log on. Your IP address is not linked to your Personal Information but FSI does reserve the right to use IP addresses to identify individuals who threaten the Site or other users or visitors. IP addresses may also be used to help diagnose problems with the Site and to gather broad demographic information. The information we collect in this manner is usually anonymized, and we will not identify you from this data, subject to a need to do so to protect the Site and/or other users.

Other Information

When you access the Website, FSI will automatically receive some information about your use of the service. The type of information that is automatically collected by FSI includes such things as the date and time of access of the Website, the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer that you are using, the domain and host from which you access the Internet, your browser software and operating system, the referring website address, and the specific activities you are engaged in while visiting the Site. Opting in and opting out of electronic communications.

Do Not Track Signals.

Certain web browsers provide users with an option by which you may have your browser send a “Do Not Track” signal to the website that you are visiting, advising the recipient website that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. However, the way browsers communicate such “Do Not Track” signals is not yet uniform and accordingly, our Site do not take any action in response to such signals. In the event a final standard is developed and accepted, we may reassess how we should respond to such signals.

Use of Your Personal Information Within FSI.

FSI does not share your Personal Information with our affiliates, which are companies controlled or owned by us, or companies that control us, or are under common control with us (“Affiliates”) without your express consent. Lawful Access, Legal Action and Investigations.

Third-Party Payment Providers

The Site uses multiple third-party payment providers to handle membership-related transactions. As required, basic user data such as email addresses, names, and physical addresses will be forwarded to these payment gateways to create or renew subscriptions, and refund payments.

To Unsubscribe from FS Insight:

  • For mobile app subscriptions: Open the App Store on your phone, click on the blue avatar icon in the upper right corner, and then go to "Subscription" -> "FS Insight" to cancel the subscription.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless the user cancels at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • For web subscriptions: Go to my account settings and click "cancel subscription". The status of your subscription will change to pending-cancel, if you are still in range of your subscription expiration.

From time to time, we may offer free trials of certain Subscriptions for specified periods without payment. Before starting your free trial we will notify you of the applicable Subscription fees that will be charged at the expiration of your free trial. Unless you cancel your subscription before the end of your free trial by taking the steps outlined above, when your free trial ends, we or our third-party payment processor will bill your designated payment method on a recurring basis for your Subscription fee, plus any applicable taxes and other charges, for as long as your Subscription continues. You must cancel your Subscription before the end of your free trial period to avoid any charges. Instructions for canceling your Subscription are described above.

Payment and Fees

Paid Services include the Services, which may be one-time purchases or automatically renewing subscription services ("'Paid Services"), including our Moblie App ('"Subscriptions"). We may change, suspend, or discontinue Paid Services at any time for any reason, and FS Insight reserves the sole discretion to determine which Services or portions thereof require payment. You agree to pay: all applicable1 fees for any Paid Services including, without exclusion, any monthly subscription fees, user fees, and offering fees and any other fees, charges, of costs that you agree to purchase as part of the Paid Services during the checkout process ("Fees"). You agree to pay all Fees and all applicable taxes incurred before termination or cancellation of the Agreement. You authorize FS Insight to charge your designated payment method for Paid Services. By providing an acceptable payment method, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that you authorize our third-party payment processor or us to charge your payment method for the total amount of your purchase, including any applicable taxes and other charges. If the payment method cannot be verified, is invalid, or is otherwise not acceptable, your Paid Service may be suspended or cancelled. You must resolve any problem we encounter in relation to the payment method you provide to proceed with your use of the Service; if you accept a promotional offer or make changes to your Paid Services, the Fees, taxes, and amounts billed may vary. Billing amounts may also vary due to changes in applicable taxes or currency exchange rates. You authorize our third-party payment processor or us to charge your payment method for the corresponding amount; Refunds will not be issued unless required by law. This payment obligation shall survive termination or cancellation of this Agreement for any reason. If you choose to finance a purchase through our third-party payment processor and one or more items in your order have an extended ship date, your loan payment(s), including interest, may be due before we ship all of the items. Please note that you may not receive a rebate of any claim that may have already accrued on an amount later refunded.

Disclosure of Personal Information to Non-Affiliated Third Parties

We will not sell, rent or market Personal Information collected on this Site to non-affiliated third parties for their marketing purposes, unless we have your consent. FSI maintains reasonable standards of confidentiality and security for the Website and the Personal Information collected from the Website.
