We have just done our quarterly rebalance of our Granny Shots portfolio. The stocks we pick are a combination of our strategic and tactical investment themes. Our strategic themes have a time horizon of three to five years, whereas our tactical themes have one of six to twelve months.This quarter we have made a noticeable adjustment to our portfolio; deleting thirteen names and adding nine.

First we’ll discuss the deletions. We removed:

  • $INTC, $KLAC, $AMAT, $LCRX, and $HPQ from the Information Technology sector.
  • $TGT and $BBY from the Consumer Discretionary sector.
  • $ATVI from the Communications Services sector.
  • $XOM and $VLO from the Energy sector.
  • $GL and $RF from the Financial sector.
  • $GE from the Industrials sector.

  • $BIIB, $GILD, and $REGN from the Health Care sector.
  • $MO from the Consumer Staples sector.
