While the eco data this morning was constructive in some respects.. with JOLTS data showing higher job openings at highest levels since last May.. (Though the drop in the Quits rate to 1.9% might suggest workers are a little bit cautious and Job openings/Hiring still elevated) it's really the ISM number which has the market a bit spooked this morning (leading indicator for future inflation) as Prices paid component jumped to 64.4, the highest reading since Feb 2023. The big jump in 2 yr yields and yields across the curve is coinciding with Stocks weakening following SPX and QQQ having rallied right to resistance near yesterday's close. Market breadth is flat with regards to Advancers/Decliners but Volume is nearly 2/1 into Down stocks vs. Up and S&P Futures have just undercut 6007 which is problematic in the short run. Technology is leading to the downside this morning along with REITS, but still seeing good strength out of Healthcare which is leading all sectors this morning. Under SPX 5925 would likely lead down to a test of 5829 which is considered the "line in the sand" for SPX cash index
