Binance Executives Depart, Jesse Powell's Home Raided by FBI

Market Update After a sharp downward move in equity indices following a blowout ADP report, the $SPY (+0.64%) and $QQQ (+0.74%) have stabilized in Friday’s trading, as the US nonfarm payrolls report showed 209k jobs added in June versus 230k expected. Crypto markets have shaken off negative headlines regarding key Binance executives exiting the firm amid claims they did not support Changpeng Zhao’s (CZ) response to an ongoing DOJ investigation. CZ addressed the claims on Twitter, once again downplaying the hostile press and helping restore investor confidence. His efforts seem to have worked as $BNB is up 1.54% today. $BTC and $ETH are displaying similar gains, rising 1.30% and 1.18%, respectively. Solana ($SOL) continues to outperform, rising 7.82% today and gaining over 46% since June 15th.Kraken co-founder Jesse Powell had his home raided by the FBI yesterday amid claims of allegedly hacking and cyberstalking Verge Center of the Arts, a nonprofit also founded by Powell. The investigation stems from the Verge Center’s claims that Powell tampered with the company’s computer accounts, hindering access to emails and other messages.
