Market Responds to XRP Charges (continued)
Additional news related to the SEC’s XRP law suit:
- Grayscale finally announced that the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund (OTCQX: GDLC) had liquidated its XRP holdings and used the cash to purchase additional allocations in bitcoin, ethereum, Litecoin and bitcoin cash.
- Blockchain.com announced plans to halt XRP trading on January 14th.
- Tetragon Financial Group, a Euronext traded closed-ended investment company and investor in Ripple Lab’s Series C round, has sued the digitally native payments company seeking to force a redemption of Tetragon’s shares and block Ripple from using any cash or other liquid assets until the payment is made.
- Since word of the action was revealed in late December, XRP has fallen 60% and its daily volume has dropped 77%.
