Cryptoassets continue to exhibit a strong correlation with equities. The global crypto market cap is down 7%, as Bitcoin (down 5%) and Ethereum (down 10%) approach their 6-month lows. Over the previous 24 hours, over $400 million of positions across all cryptoassets were liquidated, as persistent leverage in a structurally weak market has caused losses to pile up for many traders.
