Thanksgiving 2021 > Thanksgiving 2020
This is a shortened trading week, as the US Thanksgiving holiday is November 25th. And this is part of the holiday season into year-end and is generally a time for people to be joyful and give thanks and gratitude. Compared to 2020, there is much for the world to be thankful for:

- COVID-19 vaccines developed
- COVID-19 antivirals developed
- Global economy producing growth not seen in 5 decades

- there is also a ton of tragedy that we need to commemorate
- 5.2 million deaths globally due to COVID-19
- millions sickened by COVID-19
- millions financially and mentally impacted by COVID-19

So, this is both a year to celebrate the progress of the World but a time to commemorate those who could not join us. All in all, I would rate it superior to 2020.
